Who we are

Over the last century, the lagoon and coastal territory of Venice has been subjected to maritime works, such as dredging, construction of reefs to protect the territory, quays and delimitations, in addition to a number of maintenance works aimed at protecting the Venice lagoon.
Within such context, since the Seventies, the “Boscolo Zemello” family, originally with the “Boscolo Mauro, Romeo & C. S.n.c.” company founded in 1979, then merged by incorporation into Zeta S.r.l. in 2008, has started to work.

Over the years, Zeta S.r.l. has achieved a leading role in the Italian market of maritime works, especially in dredging and construction of submerged and raised reefs. Today, Zeta S.r.l. can rely on its own recently constructed fleet, which consists of 9 units of different size and capacity. The field of the maritime and coastal infrastructures is the ground on which the company is capable of performing any type of work, such as:

• Dredging and reclamations of ports and canals;
• Construction ofraised and submerged reefs;
• Nourishmentin protection of sandy shores and coastlines;
• Construction of sea walls and artificial islands;
• Refloating operations and rivertransports.

All naval units are equipped with the latest technologies, such as global positioning system (GPS) and hardware/software devices for the control of the working position in the map and in terms of altitude. Since its establishment, Zeta S.r.l. has benefited from a positive growth trend, which allowed it to:

worth over the years (even the latest investments are the result
